3. WALL INSTALLATION
3.8 Cover the wall joint by applying two or three layers of
2" (50mm) duct tape. Make sure all screw heads are well
covered with tape so that the liner is protected from sharp
corners of screws to avoid it to torn or pierce.
3.9 Once the wall is assembled, make a nal check to make
sure the pool is perfectly round. To do this, check the
diameter of the pool at di erent places so that each
dimension is identical. If this is not the case, adjust the
bottom plates by pushing them inside or outside
accordingly to get a perfectly round pool.
IMPORTANT ! The pool must be at on the entire
perimeter. A swimming pool that is not entirely leveled
can be dangerous and can collapse.
COVE ASSEMBLY
3.10 If you are using a prefabricated cove, follow the
instruction manual provided.
3.11 If you are using sand or soil to create the cove, we
recommend putting a polyurethane plastic sheet to
prevent contaminants that may contain sand and/or soil
from a ecting the metal wall.
3.12 Once the plastic sheet in place, using sand or soil
create a triangular shape ledge along the bottom of the
wall of 3 in. to 6 in. (7.5cm to 15cm) high by 8 in. to 12 in.
(20cm to 30cm) long.
THE COVE IS NOT OPTIONAL, IT MUST BE INSTALLED
(PREFABRICATED OR HAND MADE)
3.13 Dampen and compact the sand cove. Make sure the
center of the pool ground is at and smooth because the
liner will show the slightest defects of the ground.
