7.7 Setting the automatic switch OFF time
Press the "TIME" pushbutton; the display will show
"1hr". With each press of the "TIME" pushbutton you
increase the switch off time by 1 hour within a range
of 1 – 8 hours. The appliance switches off
automatically once the set time has elapsed. To
switch off the timer before the set time has elapsed,
press the "SWITCH" pushbutton.
7.8 Switching on the oscillation function
Press the "OSC" pushbutton. The appliance swivels
approximately 45° to the left and 45° to the right. To
switch off the "oscillation" function and have the
appliance blow in one specific direction only, press
the "OSC" pushbutton again.
7.9 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating, the appliance shuts
down automatically, a short warning signal sounds
and the display goes off. Should this occur, set the
mains voltage switch (13) to "0" and pull out the
power plug. Allow the appliance to cool down for
about 15 minutes. After eliminating the cause (e.g. a
covered air grille), the appliance can be switched on
again as described in 7.1. It will not be possible to
switch on the appliance if it has not cooled
sufficiently. If the "SWITCH" pushbutton is pressed
repeatedly, a warning signal will sound and the
display will flash. Switch off the appliance with the
mains voltage switch (13), pull out the power plug
and wait for a few more minutes. If the overheating
guard triggers repeatedly, please contact your
customer service center (in Germany ISC GmbH).
