11 Assembling the Lawn Mower
WARNING
To reduce the risk of pinching fingers between the parts,
hold the handle at the highest point with one hand when
loosening the star knobs.
To mount the handle:
► Switch off the lawn mower, @ 15.2.
► Remove the fuse key and battery, @ 13.2 and @ 14.2.
► Position the lawn mower on a level surface.

► Align the upper part (1) and lower part (2) of the handle so
that the pin (4) engages into the bore (3) on both sides.
► Insert the screw (5) and align it so that the screw head is
flush with the lower part of the handle on both sides.
► Screw on the star knob nut (6).
► Press the cable (7) into the holder (8) on both sides.

11.2 Mounting and Removing the Grass Bag

11.2.1 Mounting the Grass Bag
To mount the grass bag:
► Switch off the lawn mower and wait for the cutting blade to
come to a complete stop, @ 15.2.
► Position the lawn mower on a level surface.
► If the side discharge cover is still mounted, remove it.
► If the mulch insert plug is still mounted, remove it.

► Open the rear discharge cover (1) and hold it in position.
► Hold grass bag (2) by its handle (3) and engage the
hooks (4) on the rod (5).
► Close the rear discharge cover.
11.2.2 Removing the Grass Bag
To remove the grass bag:
► Switch off the lawn mower and wait for the cutting blade to
come to a complete stop, @ 15.2.
► Position the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Open the rear discharge cover and hold it in position.
► Hold grass bag by its handle and unhook it upwards.
► Close the rear discharge cover.

11.3 Inserting and Removing the Mulch Insert

11.3.1 Installing the Mulch Insert
To install the mulch insert:
► Switch off the lawn mower, @ 15.2.
► Remove the fuse key and battery, @ 13.2 and @ 14.2.
► Position the lawn mower on a level surface.
