► Open the rear discharge cover (1) and hold it in position.
► Hold the mulch insert (2) by the handle (3) and fit it
securely in the rear discharge chute (4).
► Close the rear discharge cover.
11.3.2 Removing the Mulch Insert
To remove the mulch insert:
► Switch off the lawn mower, @ 15.2.
► Remove the fuse key and battery, @ 13.2 and @ 14.2.
► Position the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Open the rear discharge cover and hold it in position.
► Grip the mulch insert by the handle and take it out of the
rear discharge chute.
► Close the rear discharge cover.

11.4.1 Installing the Side Discharge Guide
To install the side discharge guide:
► Switch off the lawn mower, @ 15.2.
► Remove the fuse key and battery, @ 13.2 and @ 14.2.
► Position the lawn mower on a level surface.

► Open the side discharge cover (1) and hold it in position.
► Line up the recesses (2) in the side discharge guide (3)
below the pins (4).
► Close the side discharge cover.
The mulch insert must be mounted when the side discharge
guide is installed.

To remove the side discharge guide:
► Switch off the lawn mower, @ 15.2.
► Remove the fuse key and battery, @ 13.2 and @ 14.2.
► Position the lawn mower on a level surface.
