Dear User,
Thank you very much for purchasing this DRU product.
Our products are developed and manufactured in confor-
mity with the highest possible quality, performance and
safety requirements. You can therefore count on many years
of problem-free use.
The appliance is accompanied by two manuals: the Installa-
tion Manual and the User Manual. The User Manual provi-
des you with information that you require to operate the
appliance properly and safely. Please read this User Manual
carefully before using the appliance. Preserve the User
Manual and the Installation Manual carefully. As the
User, you may only perform such operations as may
be stated in the User Manual. For other operations,
please engage a technically qualifi ed installer. In case of questi-
ons or doubts, please always contact your installer.
The following warning indications appear at various places
in the manual, and provide important information.

1. Introduction

The appliance is available in two versions, namely the wood
version (see Fig. A) and the pebbles version (see Fig. B).
The fl ame effect of this decorative fi replace can operate
with or without heating.
The heating system may be operated at two levels, namely
1000 Watts or 2000 Watts.
You can enjoy the relaxing and realistic fl ame effect, created
using state-of-the-art technology, at any time of the day.
The energy consumption required for the fl ame is excepti-
onally low (around 14 Watts)
This appliance meets the requirements of the applicable CE
Directives

2. Safety

2.1 General

- Read this Section on safety carefully before you start
using the appliance.
- Duly follow the generally applicable rules and regulations
and preventive measures/safety instructions contained in
this manual in order to prevent damage or grave
personal injury.
2.2 Preventive Measures / Safety Instructions
during Installation
Carefully follow the Preventive Measures / Safety
Instructions listed below:
• all maintenance and service operations should be car-
ried out by the installer; the installer should refer to the
installation and service manual for this purpose;
• If the equipment is damaged, immediately contact the
supplier before installing and starting the equipment;
• Do not use the equipment out of doors;
• Do not use the equipment in a damp environment or
near a swimming pool, bath or shower;
• The hot air discharge outlet and the inlet for the cold
air should not be partially or fully blocked in any manner
whatsoever (see Fig. C);
