Operation

To do before you operate the

Warning! Make sure that there are no electrical
cables, gas or water pipes or other objects behind the
workpiece.
Caution! Make sure that the workpiece is firmly
attached before you start to work.
Caution! Make sure that there are no nails, screws
or other foreign objects in the workpiece.
3.2 To attach and remove a battery
Caution! Make sure that the battery is correctly
attached. If the battery become loose, it can cause
personal injury.
Caution! Do not force the battery in place. If it is
not easy to attach, it is not correctly aligned.
3.2.1 To attach a battery

Align the battery to the slots in the casing.

Push the battery until a clicks is heard.
3.2.2 To remove a battery

Push the button on the front of the battery.

Pull the battery out from the battery port.
3.3 To change the saw blade
Warning! Stop the product and remove the battery
before you change the saw blade.
Warning! Make sure that there is no shavings or
other materials on the saw blade before you install it.
Unwanted materials on the saw blade can prevent it to
lock correctly into position.

Set the blade lock switch to the open position.
(Figure 2)

Remove the saw blade.

Install a new blade into the blade clamp. (Figure 3)
Note! The blade can be installed upside down to cut hard
to reach areas, for example ceilings.

Set the blade lock switch to the closed position.
3.4 To adjust the base plate
Caution! Make sure that the saw blade is longer
than the diameter of the workpiece because of the risk of
kickback. (Figure 4)
Note! The base plate must be in contact with the
workpiece during the operation. This prevents strong
vibrations and movements that can cause the saw blade
to break.
The base plate can be moved to adjust the length of the
saw blade on the other side of the workpiece.
● Adjust the base plate when you cut thin surfaces, for
example plasterboards to prevent the saw blade to cut
the wall behind.

Push the lock lever down and pull the base plate
to the applicable length. (Figure 5)

Return the lock lever to its original position to lock
the base plate in position.
