In SCR/DCSS mode, when selecting the LOOP option for an input, you must set a User Band different from the one
set on the previous input. Additionally, for each input in LOOP, you can freely select the frequency, polarity, and symbol
rate.
TO APPLY THE CHANGES, REMEMBER TO CLICK THE "SAVE" BUTTON.
5.2.3 USB INPUT CONFIGURATION
The product allows you to distribute a user transport stream from a .TS file. The programs contained in the specified
file will be added to the program list and can be distributed in the output MUX, along with programs received from
satellite.
The .TS file can be created from a generic audio/video .AVI file using dedicated conversion tools available for
download from the internet. The file must then be saved to a USB storage device (USB flash drive or hard disk).
To use the USB functionality, simply connect the USB storage device to the D-MATRIX 8S-IP and access the
configuration screen from the homepage by clicking on USB or through the menu CONFIGURATION -> INPUT -> USB.
The configuration page that will open is as follows:
Fig. 5
Check the ENABLE checkbox, then select the desired file by clicking SELECT FILE. Finally, save the configuration by
pressing the SAVE button.
If the file has never been used before, the system will analyze its format and bitrate to perform an automatic
configuration, creating a file with the same name but a .FR extension, where the result of the analysis will be saved
for future use.
In the right section, the lock indicator light should turn green, signaling that the file is being read successfully.
Information related to the running transport stream will appear in the fields at the bottom right. During the pre-
analysis, which may take a few minutes if the file is large, the status will show as "Loading".
When a file is started, and the status shows "File OK" with a green indicator light, the program contained in the
selected file will be added to the incoming program list. This program can then be added to the outgoing program
lists.
