The LNB power supply can deliver a maximum current of 400mA, shared across all inputs.
If this limit is exceeded, a current limiter intervenes, temporarily disabling power on all inputs. The system then
reactivates them one by one to identify the problematic input(s). The power supply and reception from these inputs
are subsequently disabled, while the loop-through function remains active. The LED corresponding to the overloaded
input turns red.
To restore reception from the faulty inputs, after resolving the issue in the installation, users can disable and re-enable
the input or restart the D-Matrix 8S-IP.
CAM Decryption and Transport Stream Playback
The satellite signals received through the SAT inputs can be decrypted using up to two CAM modules, which must be
inserted into the dedicated slots on the right.
Each slot can be programmed in two ways:
1. Associated with any input: The CAM will decrypt the selected programs from the assigned input. Two CAMs can
be assigned to the same input to handle different encryption formats.
2. Associated with a customized transport stream (FLEX mode): The same CAM can decrypt programs from
different inputs.
The D-Matrix 8S-IP can play a recorded program stored as a standard transport stream (.TS file).
This file can be generated from any audio/video file using a suitable conversion tool and must be stored on a USB
device formatted in FAT32.
IPTV Streaming & Remote Management
Programs from satellite or files can be distributed as multicast or unicast IPTV streams, allowing users to generate
custom output streams.
The system supports up to 128 streams or a maximum output of 1 Gbps.
The device features remote management via a web interface and has:
y A 10/100 Ethernet port for direct connection to a PC or LAN for advanced programming.
y A 10/100/1000 Ethernet port for streaming generated content.
The package includes:
y D-Matrix-8S-IP
y Power cable
y Installation and user manual
To install the device:
1. Secure the unit to the wall using the designated mounting points, ensuring it is positioned vertically for proper
heat dissipation.
2. Connect the device grounding to the antenna system using the dedicated terminal.
3. Connect the antenna cables to the appropriate inputs.
4. Insert CAM modules and smart cards into the slots (only for D-Matrix-8S-8T), if required.
5. Insert an external USB storage unit, if needed.
6. Connect the device to power.
7. Wait for the system to boot up, then proceed with the configuration.
8. Verify the output signal generation and check the input and system status using the multicolor LEDs.
The unit must be installed as shown in the figure below, using the integrated brackets.
Ensure there is at least 15 cm of free space on all sides for proper ventilation.
Any other installation method may compromise the device's functionality.
