The installation of the product must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with local safety laws and
regulations. Fracarro Radioindustrie is therefore exempt from any civil or criminal liability arising from violations of
applicable legal provisions and from improper use of the product by the installer, user, or third parties.
The installation of the product must be performed according to the installation instructions provided, in order to
protect the operator from potential accidents and to prevent damage to the product.
Do not open the product enclosure, as dangerous voltage parts may be exposed upon opening the casing.
y The product should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water, and should therefore be installed in a dry environment,
inside buildings.
y Moisture and condensation drops could damage the product. In the event of condensation, wait until the product is
completely dry before use.
y Handle with care. Improper impacts may damage the product.
y Allow space around the product to ensure proper ventilation.
y Excessive operating temperature and/or overheating may compromise the performance and lifespan of the product.
y Do not install the product above or near heat sources or in dusty environments or places where it may come into contact
with corrosive substances.
y When wall-mounting, use expansion plugs suitable for the characteristics of the mounting surface.
y The wall and mounting system must be able to support at least 4 times the weight of the equipment.
y Warning: To avoid injury, this device must be securely fixed to the wall/floor according to the installation instructions.
y For "PERMANENTLY INSTALLED EQUIPMENT," an easily accessible disconnect device must be incorporated on the
outside of the equipment; for "EQUIPMENT WITH A POWER PLUG," the socket should be installed near the equipment
and be easily accessible.
y The product must be connected to the antenna system's grounding electrode in accordance with standard EN 60728-11.

D-Matrix 8S-IP is a device that allows the generation of up to 128 IPTV multicast or unicast streams with UDP or
RTP encapsulation for DVB-S/S2 content of SD/HD/UHD programs. It utilizes streams received from 8 satellite
transponders (DVB-S or DVB-S2) or read from transport stream (.TS) files stored on an external USB memory unit.
.TS files can be obtained by converting any audio/video file into the appropriate format using a PC conversion program.
D-Matrix 8S-IP is equipped with a 1 Gbps Ethernet interface for audio/video stream encapsulation over IPv4.
The product is equipped with:
y Bipolar power supply socket;
y Four twin DVB-S / DVB-S2 satellite inputs with DiSEqC, SCR, DCSS management, and overload control;
y Eight multicolor LEDs, one for each input, indicating the input status;
y Ethernet network port for streaming generated content;
y 10Base-T / 100Base-TX Ethernet port for programming;
y USB host port for .TS file storage, firmware updates, and configuration backup/restore;
y Multicolor LED for system status indication;
y Internal reset button;
y Two Common Interface slots, each assignable to any input or in Flex-CAM mode to allow decryption of programs
from different inputs.
