12.3 Cleaning in place (CIP) cleaning process

The following instructions are valid only for instruments which have been marked as
suitable for CIP in the data sheet.
When cleaning from outside ("wash down"), observe the permissible temperature and
ingress protection.
Only use cleaning agents which are suitable for the seals used.
Cleaning agents must not be abrasive nor corrosively attack the materials of the
wetted parts.
Avoid thermal shocks or fast changes in the temperature. The temperature difference
between the cleaning agent and rinsing with clear water should be as low as possible.
Negative example: Cleaning with 80 °C and rinsing at +4 °C with cold water.

12.4 Maintenance

Checks should be carried out on a regular basis to ensure the measurement accuracy of
the pressure gauge. The checks or recalibrations must be carried out by qualified skilled
personnel with the appropriate equipment.
Apart from that, the diaphragm monitoring system is maintenance-free.
WARNING!
Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer or appropriately qualified
skilled personnel.

12.5 Recalibration

Calibration certificate - official certificates:
We recommend that the diaphragm monitoring system is regularly recalibrated by the
manufacturer, with time intervals of approx. 12 months.

13. Faults

In the event of any faults, first check whether the diaphragm monitoring system is
mounted correctly, mechanically and electrically. For instruments with display and
operating units, the error code with error text will be displayed in the event of a failure.
