set maximum temperature and the Solar Collector temperature exceeds the Solar Collector protec-
tion setting (Line 1) the pumping stations will be switched on and will continue to run until the Solar
Collector Temperature is 18°F (8°C) below the set maximum tank temperature. In this case, the
Solar Storage Tank is charged up to 250°F (121°C) regardless of the set maximum temperature.

The
recooling (Holiday) Function is a function that should be enabled when the system is not
going to be used for an extended period of time, i.e. going on Vacation. The Recooling Function
is only effective if the Solar Storage Tank temperature is below the temperature limit (203°F).
Therefore, during the holiday period, for example, the Solar Storage Tank is discharged at night to
the set recooling temperature.
CauTiOn: Make sure not to activate the Recooling (Holiday) function together with the backup
heating. As an additional cost saving measure the backup system set point can be reduced, as well.

nOTE: The Recooling function has been setup to only be functional when the Solar Collector protec-
tion is enabled. If the Solar Collector protection is disabled when the Recooling Function is enabled, the
Solar Controller will turn off both.
To avoid accidental changes in menu "Basic adjustment", it is not adjustable in normal functioning but
has only display function. To be able to carry out any changes, you must choose this menu within the
first minute after switching on the appliance or by simultaneously pressing the buttons
The basic adjustment menu "is blocked" automatically within one minute after leaving or one
minute after switching on the appliance.
