SMART 200 MP SYNER
4. MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS. RECOMMENDATIONS.
In order to provide a long life for the equipment, we
must follow some fundamental rules of maintenance
and use. Follow these recommendations.
GOOD MAINTENANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT WILL
PREVENT A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF BREAKDOWNS.
4.1. MAINTENANCE OF THE MACHINE. GENERAL
RECOMMENDATIONS.
Before carrying out any operation on the machine or the
welding cables, the equipment switch must be placed in
the "O" position (machine off).
Intervention on the machine for maintenance and repair
operations must be carried out by specialised personnel.
PERIODICALLY BLOW OUT THE INSIDE OF THE
MACHINE WITH COMPRESSED AIR.
The internal accumulation of metal dust is one of the
main causes of breakdowns in this type of equipment,
as it is subject to high levels of pollution. As a
fundamental
measure,
separated from the welding site, avoiding close
placement. It is essential to keep the machine clean and
dry. The inside of the machine should be blown out as
often as necessary. Any anomaly or deterioration due to
dust accumulation must be avoided. Blow with clean
and dry compressed air inside the equipment. As a
routine to ensure correct operation of the equipment,
check that once it has been blown out, the electrical
connections are still correctly tightened.
ATTENTION:

LOCATE THE EQUIPMENT IN A PLACE WITH
CLEAN AIR RENEWAL.
The machine's vents must be kept clear. The machine
must be located in a place where there is air renewal.
THE MACHINE MUST ALWAYS BE OPERATED
WITH THE ENCLOSURE ON.

ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (EMC)
NUISANCE.
The user is responsible for the installation and use of the
welding equipment in accordance with the instructions
must
be
in this manual and the following recommendations:
Before installing the welding material, you must take
into account the presence in the vicinity of:
• Power, control, signalling and telephone cables.
• Radio and television receivers and transmitters.
• Computers and other control equipment.
• Safety critical equipment.
• People with cardiac stimulators or hearing aids.
• Measuring and calibration equipment.

To reduce EMC nuisance, consider the time of day when
welding or other activities will be carried out. Move
potential victims of interference away from the welding
facility.
ALWAYS CONNECT THE MACHINE TO THE POWER
SUPPLY WITH AN EFFECTIVE EARTH CONNECTION.
