Lift up the platform by means of a fork lift, overhead gantry
crane or hoist, and position it above the lift arms of the
HTL on the vehicle. [See Fig. 5.4]
Align the platform and the platform hand with the 2 lift
arms, and fit the articulation pins back into the platform.
Make sure you correct their position and direction (long
pin on right hand side, short pin on left hand side). [See
Fig. 5.5]
Open the platform to 45° or lower, so that you can easily
reach the inside surface of the platform. Centre the trans-
verse perforations in the articulation pins (for the locking
bolt and the grease nipples), with the holes in the plat-
form. Use the hole for the grease nipples as reference
point.
Mount the locking bolts, starting from the inside
surface, through the platform. At the backside
of the platform, mount the locking nuts and
grease nipples back in their original position.

Connect the stabiliser rod to the fixation hand on the plat-
form, together with the spacer bush supplied with the
hinge pin. Secure the pin with the M8 locking bolt & nut.

Route the flexible hose of the tilt cylinder to the fixed pipe
connection premounted on the stabiliser rod. [See Fig.
5.8]
Give the flexible hose a smooth curb to the
right, and pass it between the fixed stabiliser
and the right side lift arm. Adjust the position of
the coupling to give the flexible a optimum posi-
tion in all normal working positions of the plat-
form.
