REINSTALLING THE BATTERY

CHARGING THE BATTERY

- Insert the battery into place.
- Connect the positive cable to the battery.
- Connect the negative cable to the battery.
- Install the battery retaining bracket and tighten
the two screws

The battery is a maintenance-free type. If the
vehicle is not used for an extended period, it is
recommended that the battery be disconnected
and stored in a dry place. See removing the

Check the voltage of the battery with a voltmeter :
