Analog output setting

ESLA
Analog audio signals are output as ES-LINK Analog (ESL-A)
through the XLR connectors .
o These connections use ordinary XLR cables, but the signals are
transmitted in a unique format, so it should only be used with
compatible devices .
o See page 12 for more about ES-LINK Analog .
XLR2
Analog audio signals are output through the XLR connectors with
pin 2 HOT .
XLR3
Analog audio signals are output through the XLR connectors with
pin 3 HOT .
RCA
Analog audio signals are output through the RCA connectors .
OFF
Analog outputs are disabled and the D/A converter is turned off .
Digital output setting
DOUT>***
o The signal is output without upconversion .
o During Super Audio CD playback, this is automatically set to OFF .
OFF
Digital audio is not output .
ON
Digital audio is output .
o CD digital audio is output during disc playback .
o During COAX or OPT input, the input signal is output as is .
o During USB input, digital audio is output for playback of PCM
files with resolutions up to 192 kHz .
DSD files and PCM files with resolutions higher than 192 kHz
are not output digitally .

Automatic display darkening setting

DPaOFF>***
ON
If playback is stopped and no operation is conducted for ten min-
utes, the OEL display automatically turns off .
OFF
If playback is stopped and no operation is conducted for ten
minutes, the display will not turn off, but it will dim to DIMMER 1
brightness to protect it from excessive wear .
o If the OEL display is left on with the same indication for a long
time, brightness irregularities can occur . For this reason, we rec-
ommend that you set the automatic display darkening function
to ON .
