Removing the auxiliary handle
(Fig. C)
1. Turn the grip (28) of the auxiliary
handle (20) ⭮ . This extends the loop
(19).
2. Remove the auxiliary handle (20) from
the device by pulling the loop (19) on
the auxiliary handle (20) over the lock-
ing sleeve (3).

Setting the depth stop

(Fig. C)
1. Release ⭯ the locking screw (27) for
the depth stop (22).
2. Push the depth stop (22) into the small
opening on the auxiliary handle (20).
3. Position the depth stop (22) so that the
distance between the tip of the drill
and the tip of the depth stop corres-
ponds to the desired drilling depth.
4. Fix the depth stop (22) by tightening
the locking screw (27) ⭮ .
5. Loosen ⭯ the locking screw (27)
again to move the depth stop (22).
Checking the battery charge
level

1. Press the button (14) next to the
charge level indicator button (13) on
the battery (15).
The LEDs of the charge level indicator
show how much charge remains in the
battery.
2. Charge the battery (15) when only the
red LED on the charge level indicator
(13) is illuminated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool be-
fore charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place
it on a radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (15) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (15) into the charging
slot of the battery charger (25).
3. Connect the battery charger (25) to a
power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (25) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (15) out of the battery
charger (25).

Operation

Notes
• Operate the device only with a moun-
ted auxiliary handle (20). Hold the im-
plement with both hands by the handle
(9) and auxiliary handle (20) while
working.
• Use clamps or another practical
way to secure and support the
workpiece to a stable platform.
Holding the workpiece by your hand or
against the body leaves it unstable and
may lead to loss of control.
• Only operate the function selector
switch when the tool has stopped.
• Always use clockwise rotation ⭮ for
hammer drilling and chiselling.
Unlock the function selection switch (6) by
pressing the retaining knob (5).
