D-ring for Helmet Holder
The
D-ring
attached
to
the
chinstrap is used to hook the
helmet
on
the
motorcycle's
helmet holder. The D-ring for the
helmet holder is provided with
the products only for the U.S.A.,
Canada, and Mexico.
z When you use the helmet holder, never
put the helmet near the motorcycle
engine or exhaust systems. The impact
absorbing liner and other helmet parts can
be damaged by heat.
z Do not ride with the helmet hanging on
the motorcycle's helmet holder, as it
can cause damage to the helmet and
potentially interfere with riding.
Important Notice about
Handling Interior Parts
z When attaching or detaching a snap, you should
hold it near the fastened area and treat it carefully.
Fasten the snap firmly until you hear it click.
z You can clean the inner parts by hand washing
them or by washing them in a washing machine
after placing them in a laundry net. Please treat
them carefully when washing. Use lukewarm
water. Gently squeeze the parts with a dry towel
and dry them in the shade. To prevent damage to
the plastic areas of the interior parts, do not wring
them strongly and do not fold or bend the plastic
areas. Take special care if you are using a washing
machine. Do not dry the interior parts with a clothes
dryer, as heat can damage the material. The impact
absorbing liner (polystyrene foam section) should
be wet with a soft cloth dipped in a solution of mild
neutral soap and water and then wiped. Allow time
for the impact absorbing liner to dry in the shade.
Do not dry the impact absorbing liner in the sunlight
or use any type of mechanical dryer, as the impact
absorbing liner is extremely sensitive to heat. If the
impact absorbing liner is exposed to high heat of
any kind, contact your dealer or SHOEI directly for
a safety evaluation. To prevent damage, do not use
any of the following cleaning materials: hot water
over 40ºC; salt water; any acidic or alkali detergent;
benzine, thinner, gasoline, or other organic
solvents; glass cleaner; or any cleaner containing
organic solvents.

Anneau en D pour support de casque
L'anneau en D fixé à la jugulaire

Notes importantes sur les

z Lorsque vous attachez ou détachez un clic,

maniez-le avec précaution.
Appuyez fortement sur le clic jusqu'au « clic ».
z Vous pouvez laver les pièces intérieures à la
main ou en machine (dans un filet de protection).
Manipulez-les avec précaution lors du lavage.
Utilisez de l'eau tiède. Pressez légèrement les
pièces humides dans une serviette sèche, puis
laissez les sécher à l'abri de la lumière. Afin
d'éviter tout dommage des parties plastiques
de ces pièces, ne les essorez pas fortement et
ne pliez jamais les parties plastiques. Faîtes
particulièrement attention lors d'un lavage en
machine. Ne séchez pas les parties intérieurs au
séchoir, et n'utilisez aucune source de chaleur, car
ceci endommagerait certaines parties internes. Le
calotin polystyrène peut être nettoyé à l'aide d'un
chiffon humide trempé dans l'eau savonneuse,
et essuyé avec un chiffon sec. Laissez sécher
naturellement le calotin à l'abri de la lumière et de
la chaleur, et n'exposez jamais le calotin à une
quelconque source de chaleur, car le polystyrène
y est très sensible. Si votre calotin polystyrène a
été exposé à une quelconque source de chaleur,
cessez son utilisation et contactez votre revendeur
afin que SHOEI puisse évaluer son niveau de
sécurité. Pour éviter tout dommage, n'utilisez
aucun des produits de nettoyage suivants: eau
chaude de plus de 40°C, eau salée, détergent
acide ou alcalin, benzine, diluant, essence, solvant
organique, produit à vitres, ou tout produit de
nettoyage contenant des solvants organiques.

When Installing the Specific
Intercom for J-Cruise3
When installing the specific intercom for J-Cruise3, it is
necessary to remove the base covers of the intercom from
the left and right sides and the battery space cover at the
rear of the helmet.
When installing or removing the intercom main unit, refer to the
instruction manual of the specific intercom for J-Cruise3 you
use.
Removing Intercom Base Cover
Insert the service tool under the tab of the base cover
of the intercom and lever the tab upward to remove the
cover.
Store the removed base cover of the intercom in
a safe place to prevent losing it.

Lors de l'installation de l'intercom spécifique pour le
J-Cruise3, il est nécessaire de retirer les couvercles de la
base de l'intercom des côtés gauche et droit et le couvercle
du compartiment de la batterie à l'arrière du casque.
Lors de l'installation ou du retrait de l'unité principale
d'intercom, consultez le mode d'emploi de l'intercom
spécifique pour le J-Cruise3 que vous utilisez.
Retrait du cache de la base de l'intercom
IInsérez l'outil d'entretien sous la languette du couvercle
de la base de l'intercom et levez la languette vers le haut
pour retirer le couvercle.
Rangez le couvercle de la base de l'intercom
que vous avez retiré dans un endroit sûr pour
éviter de le perdre.

Installing the Intercom Base Cover
1.
Insert the tab on the front of the intercom base cover
into the slit in the base (Drawing 1).
2.
Push the tab on the rear of the base cover until it
clicks into place (Drawing 2).
3.
Confirm that the intercom base cover is installed
correctly as shown in Drawing 3. If the tab on the rear
is not set into place, push the tab in completely.

Installation du cache de la base de l'intercom
1.
Insérez la languette à l'avant du couvercle de la base
de l'intercom dans la fente de la base (Schéma 1).
2.
Appuyez sur la languette située à l'arrière du couvercle
de la base jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclique (Schéma 2).
3.
Vérifiez que le couvercle de la base de l'intercom est
installé correctement comme indiqué sur le Schéma
3. Si la languette située à l'arrière n'est pas en place,
appuyez dessus pour qu'elle s'enclique.
