Roughen the ends of the tail boom where it will be glued. Pass the tail motor leads through the

tail housing, then through the tail boom. Slide the tail housing onto the tail boom and glue it in
place using CA. Route the tail motor leads through the main chassis and push the boom into
place. Position the tail boom, so that the tail rotor output shaft is positioned exactly
perpendicular to the main rotor shaft. Once positioned correctly, glue the boom in place by
adding a drop of CA through the slot in the chassis.
Attach the thin plastic tail fin to the boom and
tailskid with two pieces of tape.
Carefully cut out the body and the screen
using the molded lines as a guide. (Note
that the right canopy has a lip to which the
left side will be glued). The two body halves are joined first.
The tinted screen is glued into position from the inside. Since
these parts are very light and flexible, it is best to tape them together first, then apply a small amount of CA to the joints. When the
glue has cured, holes must be made in the body to accept the rubber body mount grommets (67385). The body has two small
indentations molded in the place where the holes must be made. The holes should be approximately 3mm diameter. Push the
mount grommets(67385) into place. The body is now ready for decal application.Apply the decals using the scheme illustrated
on the box as a guide.
