Water and dust, dirt or foreign material in the fuel tank cause a poor engine
performance.
Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive under certain conditions.
You can be burned or seriously injured when handling fuel. Observe the
following when cleaning the fuel tank.
• Stop the engine.
• Inspect in a well-ventilated area.
• Keep heat, sparks, and flame away. Do not smoke.
• Do not spill the gasoline. If you spilled the gasoline, wipe it up
immediately and dispose of the cloth or shop towel you wiped the spilled
gasoline in a manner that is compatible with the environment.
