03.03 Installation room for the steam generator
Separate electrical steam or moisture generating devices shall not be used inside the cabin. The room, in which the steam generator
is installed can be located up to one fl oor above or up to one fl oor below the steam cabin. The steam pipe connecting the generator to
the steam cabin must be max. 5 m long and must not be exceeded. For longer distances, a steam pipeline with a larger diameter than
specifi ed in the installation manual must be used. Please read the instructions in the following.
03.04 Electrical system
The electrical system must be carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0100. Electricity must be supplied to the system via a separate
power supply wire. In addition, the steam generator must have a separate circuit breaker FI (IΔ = 30 mA), which, when activated, will
allow a gap of at least 3 mm between the contacts and the mains supply. The electrical system may only be carried out by a qualifi ed
electrician. The device may only be connected via a permanent mains connection and the national system regulations must be
observed. Installation and repairs should only be carried out by an authorised service technician. During installation work, the device
must not be connected to a water supply or power supply system.
03.05 Hydraulic system
When connecting to the drinking water system, the user or installer must keep the system safety devices in accordance with the national
requirements. The steam generator shall be connected to a water mains (cold water) with a water pressure of 100-600 kPa. For water
pressures greater than 600 kPa, a pressure reducer shall be used. When connecting the unit to the water supply, use a water fi lter to
avoid contamination of the steam generator. Also note that when connecting the water, a non-return fl ow protection device must be
installed in accordance with the EN61770 standard (VDE 0700 part 600). Regardless of the water hardness level, we recommend
the installation of a water softening system – with a hardness of ≥ 2.0 ° dH or above, this water softening system is necessary.
The recommended water hardness in public places is 0.5 to 1.5 ° dH.
The feed water temperature should be between 3 °C and 60 °C. It is advantageous to supply the generator with heated water. Water
with a temperature of 40 °C to 60 °C contains much less compounds causing the so-called scaling to precipitate on the heating element
of the steam generator. This will keep the heating element in operation for longer. Another advantage of heating the water is that the
generator uses less energy to generate steam.
03.06 Drainage of water
To ensure control and cleaning, connect the water drain to the drain trap in the shape of a drain funnel (refractory material). Install the
drain trap vertically at a distance of min. 200 mm from the water outlet of the steam generator.

03.08 Steam pipe
When connecting the steam pipe, observe the minimum pipe diameter (22/35 mm). The steam pipe between the generator and the
steam nozzle shall be made of copper or stainless steel pipe with suitable heat insulation, if possible. The exact position of the steam
nozzle is shown in the cab drawings. The steam pipe shall not be obstructed or cut off by any valves. In addition, it must be protected
against external infl uences (crushing and deformation). Due to the technical properties of liquid materials, only elbows with a maximum
bend of 45 ° should be used.
03.09 Fresh air blower (auxiliary equipment)
Connect the Air-input blower to the steam nozzle using the pipe (HT Pipe DN 40). Observe the installation manual supplied with the
blower fan during installation. Automatic turn off occurs 3 minutes after the steam bath has ended.
03.10 Ventilator (auxiliary equipment)
Observe instructions included in the installation manual supplied with the exhaust ventilator during installation. The pre-assembled
Ventilator must be connected to the factory's ventilation valve from the outside. Then connect it with 100 HT pipe. The extract ventilator
fan is switched off automatically 10 minutes after steam bath has ended. It operates regardless of temperature.
CAUTION:
Observe the inclination of the fl ow direction. Otherwise, a condensate trap must be installed.
Caution:
When installing the ventilator, make sure that the connecting wire for the ventilator is at the top.
