How to make detailed settings

Menu map

For menu operation, connect a TV to this unit and
display the menu on the TV screen. For menu
operations, see the following page.

Adjuts surround sound parameters.
Surround Parameter
Adjuts the tonal quality of the sound.
Tone
Makes MultEQ ® , Dynamic EQ ® and Dynamic Volume ® settings.
Audyssey Settings
Manual EQ Uses the graphic equalizer to adjust the tone of each speaker.
RESTORER Uncompresses compressed sources and apply bass boost for richer
sound.
Compensates for incorrect timing between video and audio.
Audio Delay
Status Shows information about current settings.
Shows information about audio input signals.
Audio Input Signal
Displays the HDMI input/output signals and HDMI monitor
HDMI Information

Auto Surround Mode Displays the settings stored for the auto surround mode.
Quick Select Displays the settings stored for the Quick Select function.
Preset Channel Shows information about tuner preset channels.
Audyssey Auto Setup Makes the optimum settings for the speakers being used
automatically.
Parameter Check Checks Audyssey Auto Setup measurement results.
This item is only displayed after Audyssey Auto Setup procedure has
been performed.
Speaker Setup Sets the speaker size and distance, the channel level, etc.
HDMI Setup Makes settings for HDMI video/audio output.
Audio Setup Makes settings for audio playback.
ZONE2 Setup Makes settings for audio playback in a ZONE2 system.
Makes various other settings.
Option Setup
Auto Preset Uses the auto preset function to program radio stations.
Preset Skip Sets the preset memories that you do not want to display when
tuning.
Preset Name Assigns name to a preset memory.
Input Assign Changes input connector assignment.
Video Makes the video settings.
Input Mode Sets the audio input mode and decode mode.
Rename Changes the display name for this source.
Source Level Adjusts the playback level of the audio input.
Playback Mode Makes settings for iPod playback.
