EXPERIMENTS
The first part of this compendium of experiments is for teacher use only. It gathers a few
simple experiments performed by using the MODUSON Complement. The numerical
results contained therein are derived from actual measurements. However these
measurements were taken in arbitrary conditions and they may differ from the
experimenter's personal measurements, therefore the following measurements are not
examples.
The first experiments are meant for fifth form students.
The last experiment on interferences is meant for sixth form science students.
The second part of the compendium carries on with the experiments of the first part in
the form of lab work sheets that can be used as such by the teacher in his/her class or
easily modified. Questions are often asked in the student's text intended: these
questions often correspond to the notes relevant to the observations, the experimental
results and the conclusions of the first part.
Precautions of use: The preliminary setting of the transmitters consists in obtaining the
signal with the highest possible amplitude received by the receiver. This must be done
prior to any experiment.
