1 Description

This is a moulded PVC tray with two parts that fit into each other:

The first part functions as a support for the ultrasonic transmitters: a recess allows the
accurate positioning of the transmitters at various locations. These positions are
identified by silkscreen-printed marks and they correspond to distances of 2, 4 and 8 cm
between the two transmitters, respectively, centred with respect to the midline of the
instrument.
In order to maintain these positions stationary, the bottom of the recess and the bottom
of the transmitters are covered with an adhesive magnetic sole.
The second part has two arc-shaped recesses with centre-zero graduations in degrees
in which the ultrasonic receiver can be moved. The arc radii are 15cm and 30cm,
respectively.
