7 - MEASUREMENTS FOR BOX
FASTENING
For the inputs with two doors, you need to centre the automatism
based on the passage compartment so the meeting point of the
doors coincides with the centre line of the opening (Fig. 6A).
For a single door, comply with the measurements outlined in Fig.
7A.
The crossbeams with extensions (possible box zones not used)
should be positioned with the extensions at the top of the QMC.
For the abbreviations outlined in Fig. 6A and 7A refer to the
following list:
• LUP: Passage useful width
• A: Sliding door width
• ST: Door front overlap (only for a single door)
• SC: Door end overlap
• T: Box total length
• QMC: Thickness of side covers 5mm. approx.
The vertical positioning of the beams must comply with the
measurements in Figure 12 of the following tables:

8 - BOX FASTENING TO WALL
m
the automatism require movement of parts and heavy
equipment at a height over 2 or 3 metres. Accidental falling
of parts or heavy equipment poses a serious source of risk
for people or property nearby. To reduce this risk before
any installation or maintenance intervention, you need to
cordon off a sufficiently ample area around the work zone
and prevent access to all unauthorised people, as well as
remove any objects that could get damaged. To reduce
the risk for workers, the necessary personal protective
equipment must be worn and, in particular, a helmet, safety
shoes and cut-proof gloves.
Inspect the surface on which the box will be fastened. If the
surface is not smooth enough, level it with spacers. If the
automatism beam is fastened on a surface that is too irregular, it
may cause deformation.
Ensure the structure on which the box is fastened, and
subsequently the sliding doors, is strong enough and adequately
anchored to the building.
m
the box, ensure the beams are level in the direction of the
length and depth as indicated in Fig.13. Positioning errors
over those indicated in Fig.13 could compromise correct
operation of the automatism and become a source of
danger.
Fasten the box to the support prepared using the hex head screw
M8, of adequate length, inserted in the specific eyelets present
(Fig.13). Ensure screws used or any plugs are adequate for use
with the material composing the structure on which the box is
fastened.
m
relating to fastening of the box could compromise stable
fastening resulting in parts detaching and falling. You need
to carefully check the support structure and the hold of the
fastening screws or plugs. If in doubt, stop installation and
investigate further.
