Blast pattern
The blast pattern (A) is the surface that has received
treatment.

For a good result the hotspot must be in the center of
the blast pattern. If the hotspot is too far to the left or
to the right, turn the control cage. Refer to
blast pattern on page 17 .
These are the conditions that have effect on the blast
pattern:
•
The direction of rotation of the blastwheel is correct.
•
Increased wear on the blastwheel, impeller and
control cage.
•
The dimension of the abrasive. The blast pattern
must be adjusted when you change dimension.
•
The position of the lateral window in the control
cage.
•
Different types and hardness of the surface.

To adjust the blast pattern
1. Disconnect the power plug.
2. Loosen the 3 nuts and the adjustment lever (A).

3. Hit the blastwheel cover with a rubber hammer to
adjust the blast pattern (B).
4. When you turn the blastwheel cover, you adjust the
location of the control cage window.

5. Make sure that the feed spout is still in the correct
position after you have adjusted the control cage.
WARNING:
Do not adjust, loosen
or touch the cage clamps, feed spout
and blastwheel when the product is on.
Disconnect the power supply when you
adjust the blast pattern.
