6.4.1. Disjoncteur type HD4/R ou VD4/R pour unités P1A
et P1F (fig. 12)
La connexion du disjoncteur peut être manuelle ou électrique.
Bandage manuel dans les commandes à charge manuelle
Faire coïncider la position de l'accouplement de la manivelle
(fourni en équipement) avec le moyeu (8) sur l'arbre de bandage,
l'insérer à fond sur l'arbre et tourner dans le sens des aiguilles
d'une montre jusqu'à la signalisation de ressorts bandés (jaune)
dans la fenêtre (7). L'effort normalement applicable au levier
de bandage fourni est de 130 N. Dans tous les cas l'effort
maximum appliqué ne doit pas dépasser 170 N.
Bandage automatique des ressorts de fermeture
Si elle est alimentée, la commande actionne automatiquement
le bandage des ressorts en signalant la fin de l'opération en
faisant disparaître l'indicateur jaune dans la fenêtre (7).
Pour éviter des absorptions excessives dans l'alimentation au-
xiliaire, en cas d'installation à plusieurs commandes motorisées,
il est conseillé de charger une commande à la fois.
Bandage manuel dans les commandes à charge automatique
Au moment de l'insertion de la manivelle le mouvement au-
tomatique de bandage est libéré: on peut ainsi procéder au
bandage manuel comme indiqué précédemment. A la fin du
bandage débrocher la manivelle.
Si pendant l'opération de bandage manuel, le moteur

se met en marche, continuer quand même l'opéra-
tion jusqu'à la compléter manuellement: a la fin du
bandage le moteur s'arrête. Ne pas débrocher ni
insérer la manivelle si le moteur est en marche. Si le
moteur s'est arrêté sur intervention du disjoncteur
de protection, compléter manuellement le bandage
avant de refermer le disjoncteur.
Manœuvre de fermeture
Contrôler que les ressorts de la commande sont bandés (signal
jaune dans la fenêtre 7) et appuyer sur le bouton de fermeture (2).
La fermeture est mise en évidence par l'apparition de la lettre "I"
sur fond rouge dans la fenêtre (6). En présence d'un déclencheur
de fermeture, la manœuvre peut être réalisée à distance.
Le bouton de fermeture n'est pas disponible pour les disjoncteurs
de la version amovible qui sont dépourvus d'unité de protection
PR521.
Manœuvre d'ouverture
Appuyer sur le bouton d'ouverture (3). L'ouverture est mise en
évidence par l'apparition de la lettre "O" sur fond vert dans la
fenêtre (6).
En présence d'un déclencheur d'ouverture, la manœuvre peut
être réalisée à distance.

Operation of the circuit-breaker can be either manual or electrical.
Manual charging in actuators with manual charging
Make the coupling position of the handle (provided) coincide
with the hub (8) on the charging shaft, and fully insert it onto
the shaft, and then turn it clockwise until the springs charged
signal (yellow) appears in the window (7). The force normally
applied to the charging handle provided is 130 N. In any case,
the maximum force applicable must not exceed 170 N.
Automatic charging of the closing springs
If supplied, the operating mechanism automatically sees to
charging the springs, signalling completion of the operation with
the appearance of the yellow signal in the window (7).
To avoid excessive absorptions in the auxiliary power supply
in the case of an installation with several motor operators, it is
advisable to charge one operating mechanism at a time.
Manual charging in actuators with automatic charging
When the handle is inserted, the automatic charging move-
ment is released: one can therefore proceed with manual
charging as indicated above. On completion of charging,
remove the handle.
Should the motor start during the manual charging

operation, continue the operation in any case until
it is completed manually: on completion of charging
the motor stops. Do not remove or insert the handle
if the motor is moving. If the motor has stopped due
to the protection circuit-breaker tripping, complete
the charging manually before closing the circuit-
breaker again.
Closing operation
Check that the operating mechanism springs are charged (yel-
low signal in the window 7) and press the closing pushbutton
(2). Closure is shown by the letter "I" appearing in the red area
of the window (6). When there are shunt closing releases, the
operation can be carried out remotely.
The closing pushbutton is not available for plug-in version
circuit-breakers fitted with PR521 protection unit.
Opening operation
Press the opening pushbutton (3). Opening is shown by the letter
"O" appearing in the green field in the window (6).
When there is a shunt opening release, the operation can be
carried out remotely.
