CLEANING THE ASH PAN

The ash pan should be emptied when necessary. The stove
should not be operated without having the ash pan inside
(see drawing D18).
8.3
SEALS OF THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER AND
GLASS FIBRE
The seals of the doors guarantee stove hermetic nature and,
thus, a proper performance (see drawing D19).
It is necessary to check them regularly; if they are worn-out

CLEANING THE GLASS

IMPORTANT:Clean the glass only when it is cold in order to avoid possible explosion. You can use specific products. You
can find Bronpi vitro ceramic-cleaning product at the same Bronpi distributor where you bought your stove (see drawing
D20).
BREAKAGE OF GLASSES. The glasses, as they are vitro ceramic, resist until 750ºC and they are not subject to thermal
shocks. The breakage can only be caused by mechanical shocks (crashes or violent closing of the door, etc). Therefore, its
replacement is not included in the warranty.
8.6.

EXTERNAL CLEANING

Do not clean the external surface
of the stove with water or abrasive
products because they may
damage the stove. Use a feather
duster or a rag a bit wet.
8.7.
CLEANING THE
REGISTERS
In order to maintain the validity
of the warranty period, it is
compulsory that the registers
of the stove are cleaned by a
technician authorized by Bronpi
Calefacción, who shall leave a
record in writing of the intervention made.
It consists of cleaning the ash registers of the stove as well as the smoke passway.
First, it is necessary to clean completely the inside of the combustion chamber. It is not necessary to extract the inside vermiculite plate in
none of the models. Rub dirty surfaces with a steel brush.
It is also necessary to clean the chamber of the heat exchangers because the soot accumulated in the upper part complicates the smoke
circulation. In order to access this part, it is necessary to remove the top of the stove and, then, follow the next steps:
-
Extract the register cover by unscrewing the four screws. Drawings D22 and D23.
-
Clean the ashes placed in the upper part. Drawing D24.
-
Replace the pieces and check the hermeticism of the register.

INSTALLATION, OPERATING AND SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
or damaged they should be replaced immediately. You can find ceramic cord and self-adhesive fibre at the
same Bronpi distributor where you bought your stove.
These operations should be done exclusively by an authorised technician.
An authorised technician must do the maintenance at least once a year.
8.4

CLEANING THE CHIMNEY

When the pellet is burnt slowly, it produces tar deposits and other organic vapours that combined with the
humidity to create soot (creosote). An excessive accumulation of soot may cause problems in the smoke outlet
and the flue may catch fire if not maintained.
The cleaning of the stove chimney should only be made when the equipment is cold. A chimney sweep should
perform this task and, at the same time, examine the smoke duct (it is recommended to write down the dates
of every cleaning and keep a register of them).
