Install backflow preventer (2)
Make sure that the ventilation device (5) is in a vertical
position as shown.
Carry out a functional check (see "Functional check",
page 37).
Cast iron fitting
Cleaning the backflow preventer
Loosen the screws.
Remove the cover.
Pull the non-return flap out.
Clean the non-return flap and check for damage.
Fit the parts again in reverse order.
Installing the non-return flap
Make sure that the ventilation device (6) has been pulled
out as shown.
Carry out a functional check (see "Functional check",
page 37).
