2.4 - DESCRIPTION OF INDICATOR
LIGHTS
ON AIR 2: Lights when the equipment is on the secondary
antenna.
PREVIEW: Lights when the equipment video is selected
on the technical control room (engineer's) screens (via
external preselector). Refer to connector PREVIEW/AUX
in the Installation chapter of this manual.
ON AIR 1: Lights when the equipment is on the main
antenna.
NOTE: There are two operating modes for the panel
controls when ON AIR 1 is lit. Refer to the panel
setting up and installation chapter of this manual.
CTRL: Lights on an operator control if the latter is
accepted.
DIAG: Lights on an operator control if this is not accepted
(inoperative).
LIMIT: Lights subsequent to execution of a black balance,
if this is defective.
LIMIT: Lights:
• Subsequent to execution of a white balance (WHITE
BAL) if the latter is defective.
• Momentarily
during
permanently if white balance defective.
ASSIGNED: Lit when the partial gain controls are assi-
gned to another function. E.g.: R, B GAMMA if the
GAMMA range is displayed.
ASSIGNED: Lit when the partial black controls are assi-
gned to another function. E.g.: R, G, B FLARE if the
BLACK range is displayed.
EXTENDER: Lights when the focal length multiplier on
the lens is other than x1.
