Setting up
Using the ADJUST control:
• GAMMA LAW: Gamma law selection:
- FACT: FACTORY law (recommended selection).
- CUST: CUSTOM law. The standard camera is delivred with the CUSTOM law equal to
the FACTORY law. The change of content of the CUSTOM law requires special tools.
- BBC: BBC law.
- CCIR: CCIR law.
• MASK. LAW: Masking correction matrix selection:
- OFF: The Masking correction is OFF.
- EBU: (recommended selection). EBU (European Broadcasting Union) standardised
MASKING matrix selection.
- CUST1: CUSTOM1 matrice selection. For example, the CUSTOM1 matrice has been
adjusted in maintenance mode to balance the connected camera colour with others
cameras. The EBU matrix remains the reference matrix.
- CUST2: CUSTOM2 matrice selection. For example, the CUSTOM2 matrice has been
adjusted in maintenance mode to balance the connected camera colour with others
cameras. The EBU matrix remains the reference matrix.
Pressing of the NEXT button displays the 2nd Camera setting up page:
This page is used:
• BLK SHAD: Start of the automatic black shading SETUP (duration: about 1 minute).
• DIAGNOSE: Camera diagnosis function in service. Selection of this function places the
camera test signal in operation. On completion of the diagnostic, the display:
- OK: Indicates that the tests performed on the various camera printed circuit boards are
correct.
- BAD: Indicates that one or more tests (power supply voltage or video level) performed on
the various printed circuit boards of the camera are incorrect.
