ATTENTION!
Risk of injury associated with sharp blade! Never touch the cutting surface of the cut-
ting blade. Always use the slicing carriage and the fi nger guard for cutting.
Always check the cutting blade to ensure a secure fi t.
Risk of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery and hair away
from the device.
Do not overheat the motor! Let the device cool off (for approx. 30 minutes) after no
more than 10 minutes of continuous operation!
It is easier to cut cheese, sausage and meat if they have been cooled (not
frozen!).
Allow freshly baked bread to cool off completely before cutting it.
Before slicing
1. Always place the device on a dry, fl at, fi rm and clean surface. Press the suction
feet (6) fi rmly onto the surface.
Slicing
1. We recommend to place a chopping board or a plate next to the device to collect the
sliced food.
2. Use the lever (8) to set the desired cutting width (to 20 mm possible).
3. Pull the slicing carriage (5) back as far as it will go.
4. Place the food you intend to slice between the fi nger guard (4) and guide wall (10).
5. Set the On/Off switch (7) to the 1 position to activate the device.
6. Push the food you intend to slice gently against the guide wall using the fi nger guard
and use the slicing carriage to slowly push it against the rotating cutting blade (1).
7. To cut more slices, pull the slicing carriage back and cut the next slice.
8. To switch off the device, set the On/Off switch to the 0 position.
After slicing
1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
2. Set the cutting width to 0.
3. Push the slicing carriage up to the stop point towards the cutting blade.
4. If there is leftover food on the cutting blade, especially when cutting fatty foods (e.g.
sausage, cheese), clean the cutting blade and device (see chapter "Cleaning").

2. Place the fi nger guard (4) on ring on the handle of slicing
carriage (9). The high side must be pointing towards the
guide wall (10).
3. Ensure that the On/Off switch (7) is set to the 0 position.
4. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is
easily accessible.
