    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Please read this manual carefully prior to operating the grass trimmer. It contains important safety, maintenance and operating instructions. Read these instructions thoroughly even if you are already familiar with trimmer use. OPERATOR SAFETY - Do not operate the grass trimmer when you are tired, ill or under the influence of medication, alcohol or drugs.

    Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Intended Use The HAUSSMANN grass trimmer is intended for the cutting of grass and weeds under bushes, as well as on slopes and edges that cannot be reached with the lawn mover.

    ASSEMBLY WARNING! Ensure during assembly that the power cable is not squeezed and that it has sufficient play. Advice Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of the power source must match the voltage specified on the nameplate of the unit. Fitting Auxiliary Handle(Fig.3) 1.

    OPERATION WARNING! Remove stones, loose pieces of wood and other objects from the cutting area. The cutting line continues to rotate for a few seconds after the trimmer is switched off. Allow the cutting line to stop rotating before switching on again. Do not rapidly switch off and on.

    OPERATION To increase line length The grass trimmer comes with a full line spool. The line wears down during work. To feed in new line, switch the machine on and the lines will automatically elongate. The line will automatically be released by centrifugal force. The trimmer line will be cut to the right length by the blade on the lime cover.

    FONCTIONNEMENT Pour augmenter la longueur de fil Le coupe-herbe est livré avec une bobine de fil pleine. Le fil s'use pendant le travail. Pour obtenir plus de fil, mettez l'appareil en marche et les lignes seront automatiquement allongé.. Le fil sera automatiquement libéré par la force centrifuge.
