12.7.5 Operating the Double Shoulder Harness Buckle
1. Squeeze both sides of the Shoulder Harness Buckle to release.
2. To connect, bring both shoulder buckles together and insert into center
buckle.
12.7.6 Adjust to Fit
1. Seat child in Infant Insert and place Crotch Belt between legs.
2. Bring each half of the Shoulder Harness over the child's shoulders.
3. Adjust Crotch Belt Strap and Restraint Harness Adjustment Straps so that
Buckles are centered on each child's lower chest.
4. Click both Restraint Harness Buckles into the Crotch Belt.
5. Pull both Restraint Harness Adjustment Straps to tighten the top of the
Restraint Harness.
6. Fasten Lap Belt and tighten securely using Lap Belt Adjustment Straps.
Always adjust Restraint Harness and Crotch Belt so that they meet
at child's lower chest. Positioning harnesses and buckles near your
child's neck could result in serious injury or death.
