Keep your Leader™ clean.
The Leader™ is an outdoor vehicle with moving parts and components. Keep
it clean. After every use, wipe down the entire vehicle with a clean cotton rag.
However, do not use cleaning solvents. Clean only with mild soap and water.
Proper care and maintenance will increase the life of your product. Additional
instructions and videos may be available at www.myzigo.com.
9.2 Fabric
Check the ChildPod® skin, Restraint Harnesses, and cushions for tears or other
signs of damage regularly. Tears in fabric skin may expose your children to
moving parts, placing them at risk for injury. Tears in Harness Straps may place
your child at risk in the event of an accident.
Clean fabric with household soap or mild cleansing agent and warm water by
hand. Never use thinners or cleaning solvents. Always spot test for discoloration
on a small, discreet area of the fabric prior to cleaning. Do not machine wash.
9.3 ChildPod® Mechanisms
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean all areas of the following components regularly.
This will ensure that dirt and debris do not build up and interfere with moving
parts.
1. Caster Wheels
2. Pushbar
3. Pod Hitch Clamp, inside and out.
4. LeaderLink Post
9.4 Tires, rims, hubs, axles, and spokes
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the wheels, hubs, and axles of your Leader™
regularly. Clean your tires regularly.
9.5 Long-Term Storage
Store your Zigo® Leader™ in a well-ventilated, dry place to prevent mold and
mildew growth. Do not expose your Leader to direct sunlight during long-term
storage. Do not store your Leader™ in Carrier Bicycle Mode or coupled to a
bicycle in Trailer Mode for a duration longer than two months at a time.
