Do not adjust Barrel Adjustor more than 3-4 mm. The Brake Coupler
may fail in future connection attempts.
3. Disconnect and reconnect Brake Coupler. Test brake connection.
4. If Brake Coupler fails to connect, turn Barrel Adjustor clockwise to loosen
tension and test again.
Adjust Brake Hub Barrel Adjustor:
There are two Barrel Adjustors at ChildPod® hub. The lower Barrel Adjustor is
connected to the LeaderLink® Brake Coupler, while the upper Barrel Adjustor is
connected to the ChildPod® Jogging Brake.
NOTE
Bring the brake pad as close
to the hub as possible without
causing friction.

1. Turn the top Barrel Adjustor counterclockwise.
2. Verify that there is no brake pad to hub contact. Lift the ChildPod® Rear Wheel
off the ground and spin. It should spin freely.
