4. To keep the coffee warm, leave the coffee pot on the heating plate and the device on.
The heating plate will automatically deactivate after approx. 40 minutes. If the device
switches off, the power light will go out.
5. If you would like to switch the heating plate or the device off before 40 minutes have
elapsed, set the On/Off switch to position 0. The power light will go out as soon as
you switch off the device.
6. Pull the mains plug out of the socket when you are not using the device anymore.

Care and storage

ATTENTION!
The fi lter and fi lter compartment are hot after use! Let them cool off fi rst before re-
moving.
The fi lter compartment and the glass pot are suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
All other parts must not be cleaned in the dishwasher!
Never submerge the device, the mains cord or the plug in water.
Prior to each cleaning, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage
the surface.
1. Ensure that the device is switched off and disconnected from the mains!
2. Fold the cover up and remove the fi lter compartment by pushing the two catches
inward.
3. Remove the used fi lter and dispose of it along with the used coffee grounds in the
household garbage.
4. Take the glass pot off of the heating plate.
5. Clean the fi lter compartment and glass pot with warm water and a mild detergent or
in the dishwasher.
6. Let all parts dry completely before you put them back in the device.
If you would like to decalcify the water tank and the lines, you can add
commercially-available decalcifi er for coffee makers to the water. Please
follow the operating instructions of the manufacturer for this. You should
rinse out the water tank with water after decalcifying and perform at least one
cleaning cycle with just water (without decalcifi er) in the water tank.
7. If needed, clean the device housing with a damp, soft cloth.
