Hedge trimmer attachment
The angle of the hedge trimmer attachment can be
adjusted for optimum use.
1. Undo the adjusting lever (11-1).
2. Set the machine to the required angle position.
3. Tighten the adjusting lever.
4. Remove the guard rails (12).

CAUTION – Danger of poisoning!
Never run the engine in enclosed rooms!
Make sure that no fuel leaks out of the engine, tank or
fuel lines
Only use appropriate containers to mix and store petrol
Only refuel outdoors
Do not smoke when refuelling
Do not open the tank cap when the engine is running
or hot
Renew the tank or tank cap if damaged
If petrol has leaked out:
Do not start the engine
Avoid start attempts
Clean the machine
Allow the remaining fuel to evaporate away

Mixing fuel

Only use fuel mixed with a 25:1 ratio.
We recommend using fuels with a low bioethanol
content < 5%.
1. Add petrol and a brand-name 2-stroke engine oil to a
corresponding container, according to the table.
2. Thoroughly mix both parts.

Start-up
IMPORTANT!
Always perform a visual check prior to start-up.
The term "cutting tool" applies to the blade, spool,
saw chain as well as the blades of the hedge
trimmer.
Do not operate the machine if the cutting tool and/or
the fastening parts are loose, damaged or worn!
Pass the shoulder strap over your left shoulder and
hook the strap into the eye on the engine unit (1-2)
Stand securely.
Always operate the cutting blade with the guard plate
in place
Comply with working time regulations in force in your
country
Always comply with the operating instructions supplied
from the engine manufacturer
Before using the cutting tool, check it for damage or
cracks, and have damaged or worn parts replaced by
genuine spare parts
Starting the engine

Before starting, shorten the cutting line to 13 cm
in order to avoid placing excessive strain on the
engine.
