Performing treatment

Switch the appliance on using the ON/OFF switch.
Start position
The appliance moves to its start position:

Signal beeps:
10 warning beeps = water boiler is empty / appliance error.

Fill the water boiler.
5 warning beeps = input treatment time exceeds max. (60 min.).
•
Enter the treatment time (maximum 60 minutes).
10 increasingly loud beeps = end of treatment.

Ionisation is automatically activated when the appliance starts:
the lit signal light of the ION button indicates that ionisation mode is activated.
Ionisation mode can optionally be switched off by pressing the ION button.
Pressing the button again switches ionisation back on.
In manual and programme mode:
ionisation starts after an interval of 5 minutes. This is followed by a pulsed emis-
sion of ions.
During follow-up treatment time:
•
If ionisation was switched on during the previous treatment, ionisation
starts immediately, without the interval of 5 minutes.

Comply with all safety instructions.

The treatment duration and temperature selected are your responsibility as
a hairdressing professional.
•
The exposure time of the products also depends on the treatment tempera-
ture selected and must be taken into account by you as a professional when
determining the temperature setting appropriate for the product used.
The display shows 0 minutes treatment time
The bottom display shows the temperature setting 4 on the 5-level tem-
perature scale.
Notifications / beeper functions
Indicates an error with the appliance. You will hear 10 warning beeps
(see "Troubleshooting" on page 53).
Indicates an empty water boiler. You will hear 10 warning beeps.
Fill the water boiler.
Cover is open.
