4.2
Intended use
•
The appliance is designed exclusively for commercial use and only for oper-
ation by trained personnel.
•
The appliance is intended exclusively for heat treatment of human head
hair in order to positively support the exposure time and results when treat-
ing the hair with cosmetic hair products.
•
The appliance must be positioned such that the head of the customer is
precisely in the centre of the appliance.
•
Switch off the appliance at the main switch immediately after use. Pull out
the mains plug (tripod version only).
4.3
Foreseeable misuse
•
Before treatment with the appliance, do not apply any ointments or similar
products that promote blood circulation, as the heat emitted by the appli-
ance amplifies the effect of these products.
•
During a wave treatment, the hair must not be covered with a cloth, bon-
net, foil or aluminium foil.
•
The appliance must not be covered with towels or similar.
•
Do not treat the face or other parts of the body.
•
Do not use on animals.
•
The appliance must not be used for drying objects or heating food.

Symbols in these user instructions
The following symbols and signal words specify the possible hazard.
Electric shock: warns of an electric shock that can cause serious injury or even
death.
Fire hazard: warns of fire hazard due to highly flammable materials and prod-
ucts.
Do not use this appliance in the vicinity of bathtubs, showers, washbasins or
other vessels containing water.
Environmentally friendly disposal: warns against the unregulated disposal of
electrical appliances.
