Performing treatment
9.1
Positioning appliance on customer
You have prepared the appliance as described.
For purposes of positioning, the appliance can be adjusted freely at the posi-
tionable joint and angled at up to 12 degrees.
Positioning appliance:
1. Adjust appliance to the desired height.
•
Position the appliance at the forehead/neck line so that the steam dome
completely surrounds the customer's hair area.
•
The face and eye areas must be outside the steam dome.
So that your customers feel comfortable:
Show your customers how to adjust the treatment and temperature them-
selves.
2. By opening the ventilation flap:

The temperature in the area of the forehead can be reduced,
-
Odours produced during treatment can be more effectively removed
from the steam dome.

In individual cases, highly sensitive customers may find their eyes filled
with tears or a burning sensation. In these cases, we recommend cancel-
ling the treatment with this appliance and instead using the Climazon
for further treatment.

Inform your customers that the lenses of glasses may get fogged up
during treatment.
The treatment can be interrupted by the customer by pushing the steam dome
upwards with both hands and moving forwards out of the appliance.
9.2
Switching on the appliance
The appliance offers you the optimal treatment for every result. Choose be-
tween manual mode and three different programmes.
•
In manual mode, you determine the temperature and treatment time your-
self (see "Manual mode" on page 44). The temperature remains consistent
throughout the entire treatment time.
•
In the programmes, preset values for treatment temperature and treatment
duration control the treatment parameters.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
Protect the appliance from splashes of water.
NOTE: avoid interrupting the treatment by filling the water boiler before each
treatment.
