Troubleshooting
Fault
The status LEDs are not lit,
Receiver and transmitter not ready for
operation
4 to 20 mA output and status LEDs
indicate "Beam Block"
4 to 20 mA output or status LEDs
indicate "Fault"
No communication possible via the
communication connection
No 4 to 20 mA signal
Status LEDs on the transmitter
indicate "Warning"
The measuring points of the
transmitter are not displayed in

Cause
Power supply incorrect
Measuring path between receiver and
transmitter blocked
Lens on the receiver or transmitter soiled
Transmitter and receiver not correctly aligned
Receiver and transmitter set to different
channels

Remedy
Establish correct power supply.
Clear the measuring path.
Clean lenses.
Align the transmitter and receiver.
Set the same channel on the receiver
and transmitter.

handheld terminal
or PC software and read and rectify the

Inform Dräger Service if necessary.
