Hazardous areas on the equipment

The areas around the system and the control unit are defined as the "operating area" for
the operating personnel.
When performing equipping, cleaning, maintenance and repair works the area around the
equipment or the individual equipment components is an area of risk and may only be
accessed by specialist personnel whilst observing the safety regulations.
WARNING!
– The hazard area extends to 1 m around the machine or installation during
equipping, maintenance and repair works.
– All for the swing area of installation doors as they open.
– The owner/operator has to ensure that entering the hazard area during
movement processes is prevented.
DANGER!
Unauthorised access
The owner must ensure that unauthorised personnel are prevented from
accessing the operating area.

Intended use

The Smart Dose II Rack is a dosing system pre-assembled by Ecolab Engineering,
tailored to the exclusive use of Ecolab chemicals for the professional cleaning of textiles.
WARNING!
Any use which extends beyond or differs from the intended use is considered
improper use.
Intended use also includes compliance with all operating instructions prescribed by the
manufacturer, as well as with all maintenance and servicing conditions.
WARNING!
Danger of improper use!
Improper use may result in dangerous situations:
– Never use dosing media other than the specified product.
– Never change the product dosing guidelines beyond the tolerable range.
– Do not use in potentially explosive areas.
