Assembly

Warning
Incorrectly mounted components pose a significant risk.
• You must read and understand the instructions and notes in the manual before you begin the assembly.
• If you have questions about mounting these components, contact your SQlab dealer or have your saddle fitted by an experien-
ced bicycle mechanic.
Caution
To fit out an eMTB, eBike and pedelec, certain country-specific standards, rules and regulations must be followed.
• In Germany, observe the "Guide to Conversion to Pedelecs" of the Zweirad-Industrie-Verband e.V. (http://www.ziv-zweirad.de)
in cooperation with the association service and bicycle geV (www.vsf.de) and Zedler -Institute for Bicycle Technology and Safety
GmbH (www.zedler.de).
• The SQlab 600 active saddle has not received blanket approval for fast pedelecs (S-pedelecs, up to 45 km/h). Observe the
country-specific specifications for these. In Germany, particularly the "Guidelines for component replacement on fast e-bikes/
pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 45 km/h" must be observed.
Selection of the correct
saddle width
The two seat shells of the 600 active can be
varied in their distance. The width of the seat
shells should be selected according to the in-
dividual seat-bone distance.
Our recommendation here is as follows:
Seat-bone distance
Size
< 12 cm
S
12 - 14 cm
M
> 14 cm
L
To adjust the seat shells, the screw (M3) must be completely unscrewed counterclockwise using a 3 mm hex key. Now pull out the seat
shells and insert them into the groove of the desired width (S, M, L). Make sure that you do not mix up the seat shells and that the SQlab
lettering on the seat shells is always legible from the side. Now screw the screws back into the thread clockwise with a tightening tor-
que of 6 Nm. The two seat shells are designed to be movable on their own to provide optimum relief. Make sure to change the distance
between the seat shells evenly. So if you adjust the width of the saddle from S to M, both the left and right seat shells must be screwed
into the middle groove.
