The recovery procedure can be very useful in the case
of accidental loss of the database. This procedure
replaces the database of the current installation. The
changes made after the l ast backup copy are lost.

2.6 VISUALIZATION OF THE STATE OF THE NETWORKS

A visualisation tool is available in the main contro ll
point to show the state of the networks.
The centrals installed appear with their current state.
The possib le states are:
- Disconnected: The central and the main
control point cannot communicate.
- Reading in progress: This is the phase
of the initial reading of the complete
content of the central. The duration of a
reading cannot be compressed. The
replacement o f a central means a new
reading.
- Updating: The system is applying an
optimised updating of the content of the
central or a time correction.
- Capture of events: The system is capturing new events available in the central.
The progression of operations is s hown in a progress bar.
