2.4.1 NETWORKS

According to the work mode selected, a local network local (main
handling post) or a remote network is au tomatically created by the
system.
In the Labelling field, we can give the Ne twork the most suitable
name for its identification.
In the case of a local network it may be necessary to nominate the
series port to be used.
In the case of a remote network, it will need the telephone number
for the modem connection, although it is possible to make the first
connection in local mode.
For an installation with more than 32 centrals, a new network must
be created.
The number of networks is limited to 4, that is, 128 centrals.

2.4.2 CENTRALS

Setting up the centrals should preferably be done with codes in
ascending direction.
Select from the drop -down menu the type of reader used for the
new central. Introduce a label giving the physical location of the
central. Configure the parameters of access control inactive by
default.
- Activate the anti -passback if you need to allow a
state of 'Entry' or 'Exit' to any reader.
- Adjust the time of anti -timeback to invalidate the
double validation of the key or transmi tter during the
period established. If the time selected is 0, strict
control is maintained over the state of Passback of
entries and exits. This can only be altered by
initialising the card.
The system automatically creates 4 readers for each central,
with a configuration established by default. Eliminate the
unconnected readers to facilitate interpretation, and configure
the readers correctly if needed.
You can choose between the different types of readers
compatible with the system of the central,
St andard Reader – CITYPROX -C4+ and STEELPROX / DC
Reader HID / HID10 – connected Weigand 26 decimal (In this case, do not decodify the Site Code, although it
functions correctly when it is different from zero, as it is used as a Data Start Bit).
