2.4.3 READERS

Identify clearly the readers used (location, function) so as to interpret
more easily the reading of events.
Indicate the type of contact (contact handling) of entry and its mode of
use ('Door vigilance') for evidence of forcing and blocke d door, or
'Button' to handle free exit.
Select the state of anti -passback of the door.
Adjust the duration of time of opening in seconds.
Select the free access band of the door managed by the reader. In this
case, the order of opening will be permanent in the hours indicated and
the reader will be out of service.

2.4.4 TIME UPDATING OF THE EQUIPMENT

The time updating of the centrals is handled regularly by the system from the time set on the computer at the
main control point. It is therefor e necessary to ensure that the time on the main computer is as accurate as
possible and that the automatic application of changes of summer and standard time are activated.
If the central is not connected to the computer, the time changes will not apply, therefore this must be done
manually on connection to the computer.

2.5 BACKUP COPY AND RECOVERY OF AN INSTALLATION

Having completed the installation, it is recommended to
make a backup copy of the installation database.
If it is not required to make a copy of the events but only of
the configuration, then mark the option 'Save events
memorised'. On the other hand, if you wish to include the
events in the backup copy, then mark the option 'save
events memorised'.
It is recommended to make a back up copy every time
important changes are made in the configuration.
