During the initialization process, functionality for the main electronics components will be checked.
In case this check reveals an error, you will hear a sequence of beeps, which each represent a cer-
tain type of error, instead of the standard, high-pitched beep to indicate initialization. Please see
the following table for error allocation:

Possible causes

EEprom not installed correctly in the designated base
▸
EEprom broken
▸ Either a connected button, the configuration key or the number
keypad is stuck or broken
▸
The connection cable for a button / the number keypad is broken
▸
Interference
▸
Moisture inside the circuit board or inside the connector plug
Component to decode the line busy signal is broken
Component to decode the DTMF tone dialling signal is broken
Wrong EEprom, from V1.30 only EEprom with 2 kb may be used
Compact device: the microphone connected does not maintain the
correct polarity
Universal device: the microphone connected to the integrated
MLM does not maintain the correct polarity
the microphone connected to the MLM-A of a universal device
does not maintain the correct polarity
the microphone connected to the MLM-B of a universal device
