7. Where required, connect 12-15 V=
(potential-free; use Behnke power supply
unit 20-9585). Required for
illumination, integrated heater and
additional amplifier; not required for
telephone operation and all functions.
Special functions like camera, display,
voice messages, timer control may require
additional electronics components as well as
additional power supply. For multiple
door intercom stations, please always ensure
a galvanic isolation for the additional power
supply. Please note: It is not permissible
to run multiple devices on the same power
supply unit without a DC/DC converter.
8. Please connect the telephone line:
Line a / b from an analogue extension to a
telephone system, analogue main line or
another analogue a / b port. After the
connection of the telephone line, you will
hear a long beep, indicating that the door
intercom device can now be operated
(= Initialization). Your door intercom device is
now ready for configuration. Please note: The
devices may not be used in parallel connec-
tion on a single a / b line.

Please ensure that the open end (plugs) of
unconnected wires inside the module housing
face down. This prevents moisture from entering
into the plugs. Then put the electronics box
onto the module housing.
