3.2. FOLDING ARM SPRING TENSION
To adjust spring tension of Folding Arm, proceed as follows:
Position tubeside section of Folding Arm in high-

est position, parallel to floor; other section of Fold-
ing Arm should be vertical.

Remove snap out caps (a) from arm covers.

Push out the pins (b). Use special drift.
Partly raise covers (c) to access to the threaded
4
bushing.
Turn bushing (d) clockwise to increase spring
5
tension, counter-clockwise to decrease tension.
Use special drift.
6
Replace covers, pins and caps.
3.3. TUBEHEAD FRICTION
To adjust Tubehead friction at pivot axis, proceed as follows:
Remove snap-out disk (e).

Remove three adjustment screws (f) and check

for wear.
Reinstall screws (f) and adjust up to desired

Tubehead frictioning.
Apply loctite to screw heads.

Verify Tubehead proper balance and tension.
5
The specified Tubehead rotation torque
is 1.6 to 2.2 Nm.
6
Replace snap out cover disk.
