4. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

4.1 Solar collector assembly

1) Remove the roofing in the area of the roof where you wish to install
the solar collector, taking into account the advice provided on page 7
(fig. 1);

2) Position the collector, resting it on the wooden strips featured, so as to
ensure there is a clearance space of at least 50 mm on the sides and
280 mm underneath (fig. 2);

N.B. The collector should never be rested directly onto the suppor-
ting surface. Where not featured, arrange some wooden strips
so as to guarantee a free space between the surface and the
bottom of the solar collector;
3) Align the lower part of the collector with the wooden strip already on
the roof. Fasten the additional strip beside the existing one (screw not
provided). Repeat this step for the upper part of the collector (fig. 3);
the distance between the two additional strips must be at least equal
to the length of the panel (2058 mm);

4) Screw two L-shaped brackets onto the additional strip 150 mm from the ends
of the same. Lay the solar collector onto the L-shaped brackets and tighten
securely in place using the self-threading screws provided (fig. 4);
